Hello Readers
Friends are our constant buddies and the people we turn to when we need help, advise or a shoulder to cry on. Everyone needs a good friend who they can talk to whether it’s just for a casual natter and catch up or a serious conversation. When we talk with a good friend we know we can talk about whatever is on our mind and we know they will understand and it’s during the worst storms of your life that you get to see the true colours of the people who say they care for you. One of the fundamental aspects of any relationship is trust and the hope that they will keep their word, but once trust has gone there is little else left to hang on to or even bother with. Everyone has different ideas and opinions, but what matters in a friendship is that we accept and respect the fact that we are all entitled to our own point of view and that we can agree to differ. A sense of humour is essential. Friendships should be enjoyable and fun sometimes even in our most testing times.
True friendship is two way, both parties giving and taking, not all one way. If it’s very much the case of a friendship being mostly one way, then sooner or later resentment will settle in beneath the surface and all the problems start. True friendship isn’t about being there when it’s convenient, it’s about being there even when it’s not. In life we never lose true friendship, we just learn who the true ones are.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
