Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions shattered. There are times when it’s best to be alone. We are not meant to be happy all of the time, but to experience every emotion whilst fully embracing both pleasure and pain because this is the only way we can grow. Sunshine all the time makes a desert. Be a person of all seasons.
Practising detachment and standing apart quietly and confidently from other people’s dramas is testament of your wisdom and maturity. Observing from beyond whilst witnessing extraordinary events and the consequences of puerility by the reckless and the foolish teaches us why it’s important not to follow the crowd. Some people age well, whilst others not so much. Many don’t like being adults, preferring to remain in the playground. What they fail to understand is that there is a price to be paid for everything. They are the takers and opportunists, anything for a free lunch.
Never surrender your freedom, nor go against your better judgment. Your instincts will always prevail and be proven correct. By continuing to abide by your oaths and principles in the face of adversity, you will demonstrate your strength, stoicism and resolve whilst demonstrating your commitment to making a difference in this troubled world. Over time, even some of those individuals who were once so prejudiced and opposed towards their fellow neighbours will start to rethink their priorities and be more willing to view the world from a totally new perspective. Perhaps working together instead of engaging in conflict could lead to something truly remarkable being accomplished which can be described as nothing short of a miracle. The real power is in mastering ways of creating a well well-balanced life. This can be difficult at times, but not altogether impossible.
Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes with old chapters ending whilst allowing new ones to commence. Resisting them only creates sorrow, regret and remorse. Let destiny take its course by allowing energies to flow naturally in whichever way they deem fit. When you begin to let go of what you once were, you will aspire to become who you must be. Simplicity, patience and compassion are your greatest treasures. Knowing others can be invaluable, but understanding yourself is true wisdom. Managing others is a sign of grace, maturity and true strength. Remaining calm during turbulent times sends out a clear message of self-assurance and power.
Be content with what you have and rejoice in the way things are. When you realise there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you. Maybe it’s not about a happy ending, but more about the story you are living in, so be careful with what you wish and also water down your dreams with.
