Hello Readers,
Change is inevitable and inescapable if we are to keep up with the times, modernise, progress and be prepared to further our knowledge and advances our skills, which all works to our advantage and keeps us in the loop. There are lots of people who call themselves ‘old fashioned’ when it comes to technology, preferring to remain in the dark ages rather than moving forwards with the times, re-educating themselves and realising that the world is a very different place than it was a few years ago. It they are not careful, they will, inevitably be left behind because the world is moving forwards at a very fast pace indeed.
The internet is the most brilliant discovery we could ever have wished for. It is the window of the world. It brings people together by ways of communication allowing us to speak to one another by various forms of media equipment such as telephones, Skype, computers televisions, take photographs of our loved ones etc., the list is endless. We are able to send messages, pictures and lots of varied information instantly to anywhere we choose to, distance no object, download music and enjoy listening to talking books. The world and local news are at our finger tips enabling us to keep up to date with what is going on around us.
Gone are the days when we are queuing up outside red telephone boxes and staring at black and white TV sets admiring the ‘test card’ when there were no programmes being transmitted. Our choices back in the old days were very limited compared to now. Today we can record several TV shows all at once, enjoy internet shopping and join in to so many other sporty, literary and creative activities online. All these services were unavailable to us until very recently owing to advanced technology, education and travel.
There will always be a small percentage of individuals who make a point of objecting to all this advancement in technology because they are reluctant to adjust and adapt to all the new and exciting products on the market. but without change and progress, everything eventually begin to stagnate. If we are to survive, we must be prepared to move forwards with the times, or risk being left behind.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
