Hello Readers,
Aiming to be the very best at everything you do is a very tall order, and deliberately so. If you go to work, then do your job as well as is humanly possible. It does not matter what your occupation is, if you do not put your heart and soul into it, then what is the point? What are you actually aiming for and why? If you set out to do something, anything, and you are deliberately aiming for second best, how sad is that?
The same rule applies for everything you do whether its keeping your home clean and tidy or grooming yourself to look, sound and feel a million dollars. Its extremely important to aim to always be the very best. It takes just as long to do a shoddy second rate job as it does to make that extra effort to do a spectacular job. It will do wonders for your confidence and self esteem when people start to notice the difference in you and pay you compliments. It does not matter who is jealous of your success, you set your stall out to set an excellent example. Once you become your own judge, your own panel of experts, it is very easy to live up to those expectations because they are entirely yours. No one else can say whether you have failed or succeeded. No one else can set the criteria for what you are about to embark on.
The most marvelous thing about setting your own standards is that no one else has the right to judge you. No one else can get their sticky little fingers on what , for you, is right or wrong, good or bad, because only you know what works for you, so how liberating is that? Having established that youll aim for the very best and you have set the standards of what that is, all you have to do is periodically check back to that standard to see how you are doing. The secret is to be aware of what you are doing and aim for that, the best. Make your goals and your aims simple and attainable otherwise its so easy to become discouraged. Aim to always do what pleases you and just stand back and watch how many people will begin to copy your style. It will prove eye opening.
Failing is fine. Aiming for second best isn’t. Never limit your challenges…instead, challenge your limits.
Until next week,
Love and light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
