Hello Readers,
Over the past 30 years I have been very privileged to have enjoyed a fabulous career in both writing and reading out your Stars on various BBC Radio Stations. During that time I have worked with the most talented and incredible Radio Presenters and for the past 6 years I have been reading your weekly Stars on BBC Radio Nottingham each Monday afternoon.
I was at the Radio Station last Monday and was approached with an idea that rather than just read out the weekly Stars with little or no banter to accompany my little slot, would I fancy the idea of reading out Monthly Stars for a longer period on the show accompanied by music, chatting and banter? Well, of course I would, what a fabulous idea!! This means that a proper conversation can take place instead of me arriving at the scene, saying hello, reading out stars, finishing off by saying goodbye and then homeward bound. This is progress because it means that my little slot can now be made much more interesting, close up and personal. Am loving this idea more and more as I am sharing it with you right now.
So the good news is that from February 19th 2015, you will be able to listen to me reading out your Monthly Stars on BBC Radio Nottingham on the Verity Cowell Show, 103FM or 95.5fm.
