Life is either an exciting adventure or nothing at all. To learn something new, you need to try new things and not be afraid to be brave, bold and daring.
Our tendency in life is to avoid things that frighten us, but in order to develop and grow, we need to go deeper and deeper into ourselves and reach further into the things we fear the most in order to truly overcome them . To address your social anxiety at a deep gut level, you must repeatedly take courageous action. It is only through trying something new, and with a different perspective, that you learn to see the world and the people around you in a totally different light. As beauty lies in eyes of beholder, struggling lies in reaching further, so don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind, but instead be led by the dreams in your heart. When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change, and at such a moment there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened, or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait and life does not look back, we can only ever go forwards.
The brick walls we build up around us are there for a good reason. They are not only there to keep the world out, but to give us a chance to decide which direction to go in next. Dare to be courageous in life because if there were no hazards, there would be no achievement. When we imagine that a challenge is going to be gruelling and difficult, and then it turns out to be so much easier, it comes as a huge relief, but when something we think is going to be easy turns out to be incredibly challenging, it can cause us to question our judgment and wonder about our fortitude. You may be in the midst of a difficult challenge right now that is turning out to be more complicated than you ever imagined, but life can turn in a split second turning everything around to work in your favour. Never give up mid-stream and complete your mission gracefully.
You have got the key to your castle in the air, but whether you can unlock the door remains to be seen. Always remember that you were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self and to live out your purpose, so do it courageously. The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.
‘The challenges of life will shape us,
like rooted trees bending in the winds
every twist and turn encountered
leaves its mark upon body and soul.
Roots run deep in every being,
genetic memory echoes through time
the knotholes hardened through generations
cast their permanence upon descendants.
Wisdom gleaned through many lives,
imbues itself within cellular walls
like the trees, the human weathers
life’s storms, bending without breaking’.
Love and light,
