Hello Readers,
One of the hardest tasks in this life is to make peace with yourself. You are your own master and only you possess the magic key that open the lock to the labyrinth of your deepest inner soul.
Lesson number one: do not let the behaviour of others destroy your inner peace, resulting in you feeling exhausted, vulnerable and ill.
Lesson number 2: Nobody can hurt you without your permission, so start setting down some very firm boundaries. This has nothing to do with you being antisocial or unkind, but everything to do with self preservation and survival.
When you do the right thing, you get the feeling of peace and tranquillity associated with it, not feelings of anxiousness and fear.
All peace comes from within your own inner soul. The only things that can be found externally are the tools you need to learn to use in order to change your attitude, behaviour and ultimately protect yourself from negativity. Never make the mistake of responding to an angry person with a fiery comeback, even if they deserve it, because that will only inflame the situation and nothing positive can be gained by lowering your energy down to their level. Why should you own someone else’s anger and vexation? Nothing gives a person so much advantage over another as to remain in control and unruffled under all circumstances because the best fighter is never angry.
Life is tough and there are always many lessons to be learned on a daily basis. No one is exempt. Each person must find their inner peace and this is far easier said than done. It’s something that cannot be done by anyone else on the outside, only by you alone. People can offer advice and guidance, but the responsibility lies with you. If you cannot find inner peace within yourself, you will not find it anywhere else and you will never be at peace with yourself until to start listening to your heart.
Have patience with everything that remains unresolved in your heart. Learning to distance yourself from all the negativity, and often the people involved in it, is the only way to achieve inner peace and calmness. Nothing can disturb your peace of mind unless you allow it to. Work at developing an inner solitude by spending time alone in your own company practicing meditation and reflection. Beautify your inner sanctum with love, light, understanding, empathy and compassion. Above all, always be kind to others. If you really want to find yourself, you have to want to discover the spiritual world that exists deep down within the walls of your inner being. Do not look for happiness outside of yourself because only the truly awakened seek happiness inside of their own mind and soul.
Once you have love for yourself, everything else will be taken care of. Have faith in knowing that what is meant to be, will be.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
