Hello Readers,
Disconnecting from certain people can save your life. Disconnecting from people who drain your life blood energies and sap the strength out of you is key for your mental and spiritual growth and recovery. Occasionally it’s necessary for us to disconnect in order to reconnect at a later date. We all need a break from pressure.
Some people don’t love you nor even care about you. They just say they do. Empty words, no meaning. They just want to stay connected to you because of your uses. They love the benefits and thrive on having that power over you. A little phone call or message here and there, just checking up on you to make sure you haven’t found a way of slipping through the net is all it takes to keep you on board. Your soul feels lonely, not when you lack company, but in the wrong environment, but how long will it take you to realise this?
Sometimes it can take an eternity to break away from a certain person because of the toxicity, their controlling and our addiction to them. No matter how bad and disastrous the whole scenario might be, it’s the addiction that is the worst. Perhaps it’s time to tell certain people to cancel your subscription to their issues. Better late than never.
Detach, disengage and think about embracing new perspectives. Develop the habit of viewing life from an outside, external position. Detachment is not about you not owning anything, but more of a case of nothing no longer owns you.
Opportunity may knock only once but temptation leans on the doorbell and sometimes silence is more powerful than having the last word. In the end the choices and consequences of what will happen next are down to you.
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
