Hello Readers,
One of the most important and fundamental needs of humans and animals to have a place they can call their home. Home sweet home, our home is our castle, its somewhere to retreat to after a long day at work, or return to after a holiday when we have spent time away from our familiar surroundings and just crave to be inside of our own four walls and tucked away in our comfy bed. How often have you lain in a strange bed, listening to the rain dreaming of home? No matter how many fabulous hotels you may stay at or spend time visiting friends and family, being a guest in their home, there is still nowhere quite as comforting as finding yourself in the peaceful and serene surroundings of your own home and creature comforts. The ache for home lives in us all because it’s a safe place we can go to and not be questioned. People travel all over the world in search of their fortune and other needs only to return home and find everything they have been craving is right there on their doorstep.
Some people even prefer not to take holidays because they would rather stay home, do some jobs around the house and garden and just enjoy their surroundings. They have no desire to go chasing rainbows in search of something that in their reality, simply does not exist outside of their own four walls or beyond their garden gate. Sometimes the desire to stay at home is incredibly strong because all you want to do is run a bath and read a book in bed without any disturbances to the peacefulness of their haven.
Home is when someone notices that you are no longer there. Home is a word that the homeless and uprooted persons know and appreciate most of all because all they dream about is to own their own home, to have a home to go to.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
