Hello Readers,
We are all built from every lesson and experience we have ever survived and arrived at this point in time. Each experience is a valuable chapter that has taught us something and each disappointment has helped us reaffirm our determination to do better next time.
We endeavour to improve our performance, but everything takes time, patience, making compromises and learning patience. People always talk about ‘getting there’, ‘nearly there’, but if you talk with them again months down the line, they haven’t changed their mantra, they are still sitting on a train that is ‘getting there’. They rarely recognise when they have finally arrived because they do not really believe this is possible.
Often we spend so much time wishing that we could arrive at our destination in life that when we do, it’s rarely what we expected it to be. All of our journeys have secret destinations, of which none of us can be sure they are the right ones. The Buddhists say that we are only ever in the right place at the right time because we have important lessons to learn from that particular situation, life learning never stops. Sometimes painful things can teach us lessons that we did not previously know we had to learn and the most important lessons are usually learned during the worst parts of our life.
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today and if you fell down yesterday, then today, make a point of getting up and starting over again. No regrets, just lessons learned.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
