It’s All Just An Illusion

HELLO READERS

Of the terrible doubts of appearances, and the certainties of what we think we are seeing or hearing is that we just might be deluded. Carrying hope when feeling distrustful is nothing more than mere speculation. When the impalpable, and the sense that words and reason hold no value or meaning, never make the mistake of judging a book by its cover, and worse still, giving it the benefit of the doubt. It’s a huge mistake that often comes with a very high price. Never be content to accept something that you know nothing about because no matter how beautiful everything may look superficially, there is always the inevitable chaos rumbling beneath the top set facet.

Their surface is their mask, the one they hide behind when they are fundamentally at oddities with anything or anyone that stands in the way of whatever they are in pursuit of. They play their pretending game with facades of assurances that they are in control. The truth is the complete opposite. These are the types who refuse to take responsibility for anything that may involve them, and when things go wrong, it’s always someone else’s fault. They are professional victims who enjoy playing dangerous mind games. Narcissistic tendencies that are sometimes incomprehensible. These character types are not only difficult to live, but almost impossible to shrug off as they feed off the energies of anyone they are attached to. When it comes to plotting their next moves, they won’t stop at anything until they have captured their prey, squeezed them dry later discarding and abandoning. Take notice of how abnormally thick skinned, wanting and insensitive they be when attention is not focused on them. They can be ruthlessly self-advancing and waste no time in networking whilst entwining themselves in the lives of others. They always have a hidden agenda but lack morals and conscience. Despite how many times you turn them down, ghost or stonewall them, they reappear at some point in time as though nothing has happened.

A clear tell-tale mark of such personality types is that they lack internal brakes, and are always on some mission or other, often living life in the fast lane looking for their next big adrenaline fix. Like a runaway train with no means of either slowing down or grinding to a halt, they exercise little or no care over their impulses or other people’s time and money. They plan each move to win whatever the cost, abhorring the notion that you may expose them and later claim victory when the bejewelled crown really belongs to them. They always want their own way and the last day.

They cannot bear the thought of finding themselves in an inferior or subordinate position and will try every trick in the book, no matter how underhanded or devious, to win, even if it means enlisting the services of a third party to do their dirty work. They will only consider retreating if there is some kind of reward in store. And after that, nothing has any real meaning of importance or significance
.
So, the next time you find yourself caught up in the allure of appearances and superficial beauty, remember to remain true to yourself to yourself.
Always choose your friends wisely.

‘Do not pass me by.
It will not be easy for you.
A long conviction of worthlessness builds strong walls.
The nearer you approach me the blinder I may strike back.
It’s irrational, but despite what the books may say about man
often, I am irrational.
I fight against the very thing I cry out for.
But I am told that love is stronger than strong walls
and in this lies my hope.
Who am I, you may wonder?
I am someone you know very well.
For I am every man you meet
and I am every woman you meet.’

Love and light,
Linda and the Lulas xxx
