Hello Readers,
In a world where certain vows are worthless and where making a pledge seldom means anything and where promises are made to be broken, it would be refreshing to meet the sort that people who stood by their word, said what they meant and meant what they said. So many don’t.
Some people think they can promise anything, whilst others are seemingly willing to accept whatever seems to guarantee them better days. Flaky promises made on a whim. Those who make promises they don’t keep often end up feeling powerless and frustrated because their dishonesty finally catches up with them. Broken vows are like broken mirrors and can never be successfully mended because the cracks will always be there no matter how many attempts are made to glue them together. The offenders leave those who faithfully held on to them disillusioned and staring at the ground in utter despair and disbelief. Such is the power of a broken word. Your word is your honour. If you say something, you must back it up with your actions. Once you provide the proof that you are true to your word people will follow you more willingly. Three things you never break, promises, trust, and someone’s heart.
Flimsy snowflake offers of anything may be there at the beginning, but sometimes , those who feebly offered assistance do not always fulfil their promises because they have lost interest because there is nothing in it for them. They are the ones full of excuses and manufactured untruths. They just hope you are not able to see through them nor brave enough to confront . Always remember that talk is cheap and that action speaks louder than words. Words can be twisted into any shape. Promises can be made to lull the heart and seduce the soul. They can be so persuasive.
Some people don’t understand the full implications of the promises they make when they make them. In final analysis, words don’t mean anything and liars tend to make the best promises.
Love and light,
