Hello Readers,
We become each and every piece within a game called ‘life’ and until you have made peace with yourself, you will never be content with what you have. Many people experience a constant, inward struggle just being themselves. In fact, they spend so much time avoiding discovering who they are, that they nearly always find themselves listening to the advice of other people, even complete strangers, because they believe these people have a better opinion about things in life than they do, resulting in always being in a state of utter confusion. One of life’s biggest and most difficult battle and quest we have to face and deal with during our life time is trying to discover who we are and what we are made of. Don’t abandon the search, because without discovering the truth of who you really are, deep down inside, within your own soul, you will never truly be happy.
The biggest mistake anyone can make is not being themselves. To constantly endeavour to change yourself just to please others is a sure recipe for a life of unhappiness and discontentment. Let go of who or what you think you need to be just to please others because if people are not prepared to accept you for who you really are, then they are not true friends and do not have your interests at heart. Once you change the way you see yourself and start loving and respecting yourself, you will automatically begin to attract the right people into your world, and interestingly, the negative ones start disappearing as if by magic. It’s because you begin to operate on a completely new vibration. It’s called, positivity.
There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain in improving, and that is your own self. There is no satisfaction that can compare with looking back across the years and discovering how much you have grown in self-control, judgement, insightfulness, generosity and understanding. One thing that you have that no one else has is your own mind, your own voice, your own vision and your own story, and the better you know yourself, the better your relationships will be with other people and the rest of the world. The more you know yourself the more patience you will have for what you see in others. When you truly know yourself you are empowered and when you accept yourself, you are invincible. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.
‘Watch your thoughts: they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny’
