Hello Readers,
There are a lot of people around you who won’t have a clue what you are doing, nor will they understand what problems you are facing and worrying about on this journey of life. So it’s important to surround yourself with likeminded people, those who are not only on the same journey as you, but some who are further along the line or maybe slightly behind you. The key is that they should have similar goals, ambitions and values as you.
There is absolutely no point in associating with lazy, unmotivated people who are unhappy with their jobs, their life and circumstances and refuse to do anything about it, only waiting until the weekend to numb their senses partying until the early hours of the next morning and wasting their money they have just spent grafting endless hours in the weak earning. Or that they sit, slumped on the sofa in front of the telly, slowly letting their life slip by. They then do the same thing the following week and so the cycle continues.
Surrounding yourself with likeminded people will accelerate your success tenfold because you will both energise and inspire one another during interesting conversations with words of support and encouragement. Get yourself into the concept of being around people just like you and people you want to be like in your head because this is very important for your growth as a person.
Look at the people you surround yourself with because they are a reflection of you. Your experiences in life define who you are and everything that makes you and shapes you into the person you are today. When you start to make changes, good things begin to happen for you and you will naturally begin to notice that your circle of friends will evolve, including more people who are like you or on a similar mission. Of course, there are some people around who just won’t get what you are doing or what you are about and probably think you are a bit odd. That is up to them, not your problem, but flip the coin and you will discover there are others who will down right want to keep you unsuccessful and lacking confidence in your abilities. Safe to say you will soon see their true colours emerge. Very often the more successful you become the more certain people are going to resent your ambition or success because it highlights their ambitiousness, or lack of it. So distance yourself from negative people and create space for positive people who believe in your dreams, encourage your ideas, support your ambitions and bring the best out in you.
Your circle of friends must match your own aspirations and dreams, otherwise you will find little support. As we grow up we realise that its less important to have lots of friends and more important to have real ones.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
