Hello Readers,
Love is not something we give or get. It is something very precious and beautiful that we nurture and grow. It’s a spiritual connection that can only be cultivated between two people when it exists within each one of them. We can only love others as much as we love ourselves.
We are all connected to each other, to the Earth and to the rest of the Universe. Change your thoughts and you will change your world. When we can no longer change a situation, then we must change ourselves because nothing happens unless something is moved.
As you are constantly shifting, changing and growing, you will gradually begin to realise that you are not the same person you used to be. In fact, you are not the same person today that you were yesterday. Some of the things you were willing to tolerate previously are now deemed totally unacceptable, and whereas you once remained quiet, mute and almost invisible, you have now found your voice and can confidently speak the truth. In areas where you once may have locked horns, battled and argued, you have now discovered the power and strength in maintaining your dignity and choosing to remain silent. There is no need to expose yourself to anything nor anyone that is bad for you. Make yourself and your happiness a top priority. Love and respect yourself, and others will respect you.
With so many life experiences behind you, you are now beginning to understand and appreciate who you really are and no longer prepared to accept people and situations into your life that are not worthy and undeserving of your time and friendship. In any one given moment in time, we have two choices. We either step forward towards growth or step back into the same old rut. Progress is impossible without change and those who are unwilling to change their minds will not succeed in changing anything, and so they will proceed to decay and stagnate.
It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan. Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change and if we don’t change, we don’t grow and if we stand still for too long, we begin to decline and stop existing. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone, we find it with another. Sometimes, reaching out and take someone’s hand is just the beginning of an important journey.
We are all like islands in the sea, separate on the surface, but connected in the deep. Invisible threads are the strongest ties. The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
