No One Really Knows Hoe To Move On

Hello Readers,

Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone any more. It’s just realising that the only person you really have any control over is yourself. At some point you have to accept that some things are not meant to be, or work out in the way you planned. Some people are not destined to stay forever and some wounds never heal, usually because the never get the chance to.

It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and only then do you realise that some of the people you’ve known forever don’t see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on because it’s the only way. Often there is nothing left to talk about any more. The conversations become stilted and you make your excuses to beat a hasty exit. You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over analysing a situation, trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could have happened, or you can just leave the shattered and splintered  pieces on the floor and close the door behind you. Trying to resurrect something that is no more is a meaningless errand.

There is no such thing as a broken family. Family is family and is not determined by marriage certificates, divorce papers, or adoption documents. Families are made in the heart. The only time family becomes null and void is when those ties in the heart are permanently severed. If you cut those ties, that’s the end of it, or so you think. If you make those ties, those people are your family, and even if you hate those ties, those people will still be your family because whatever you hate will always be with you just as blood will always be thicker than water.

Life is all about good and bad experiences. They are required for you to evolve as a mature experienced person, becoming capable of making the right decisions at the right time. Some people take it upon themselves to expose wrong doing by harming others. They have no conscience, they don’t care, but you are different because you have empathy, compassion and understanding. You care. Truth might remain hidden for some time, but ultimately truth prevails and time reveals everything. Don’t ever let your heart lose hope of a better life ahead. The wheel of fortune always turns towards the sunlight. The wrong people will exit your life when they have to, and the right ones will find you when you need them the most. Trust the process and the universal timing of things.

You are in a lifetime relationship with yourself, therefore it’s important to be good to yourself. If you are not, no one else will either. Prioritise your inner peace and remain calm when being tested. Over reacting and speaking harshly only causes regret later. Once words are said they cannot be taken back.  Be emotionally intelligent so that you can see with clarity, act with dignity and elegance. You can only lose something that you have, but you cannot lose that who and what you are. It is what it is.

It does not matter if your glass is half empty or half full, just be grateful that you have a glass with something in it.
