Love and peace of mind in our lives do protect us and you will never find inner calm until you listen to your heart. Never let the behaviour of others destroy your happiness as nothing can nor will unless you allow it to. Grudges are for those who insist they are owed something whilst forgiveness are for individuals substantial enough to rise up above the negativity and move on with their lives. It’s a choice.
Peace of mind can be difficult to achieve as we all experience an array of different emotions on a daily basis. When something happens, we are motivated to initiate action but don’t always know where to begin when we meet up with opposition, resilience and the strong wilfulness of others. It can be overwhelming and intimidating making us feel like running away and hiding, even feeling safer if we pretend to be invisible.
Sometimes events can trigger off emotions that are so volatile that they are capable of frightening you into temporary paralysis. For the sake of your sanity it’s important to find a way of controlling your stress levels without continually returning back to square one every time your peace is disrupted.
If you are driven by fear, anger or pride, you will feel the need to compete and outdo your opponents whatever the cost, but if you are guided by courage, awareness and calm, you will settle into a beautiful relaxed state of mind and achieve far more that way. Over the years you have gained and you have lost and if you have managed to save even a shred of self respect and normality, it’s enough to help you get to the next stage of your life. No battle is won without making a few sacrifices. The punishment for every disordered mind is it’s own chaos and disorder, and when your spirit angels take the trash out in the middle of the night, don’t go digging back through it, dragging the rubbish back indoors again.
