Rise and Rise Again Until Lambs Become Lions

HELLO READERS

Hold yourself responsible for maintaining a higher standard than others expect of you. Never excuse nor pity yourself because no one is neither bothered nor listening. We are all worth more than the worst things we have ever done. No one is without blame. Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we just become stronger, wiser and more resilient to its challenges and tests. Cleaning a wound can be more painful than the cut itself.

To move forwards, we must be willing to let go of the life we have planned so as to embrace the life that is awaiting us. The past is done with and cannot be changed. What is done, is done. There are so many ways to be brave in this world. Sometimes it involves making sacrifices and sometimes it involves doing nothing at all. Nature will always take its course. In time, everything is accomplished.

It’s just a matter of gritting your teeth through pain and taking the slow walk toward a better life. Without fear, there is no courage nor the wherewithal to make improvements. Taking no chances means wasting your dreams without ever realising what might have been achieved.

If you fall down and find a way of getting up, you will become stronger than the person who never tried. Fear cuts deeper than the sharpest sword. Whatever your circumstances, don’t be tempted give up hope otherwise you risk losing everything.

By taking some time out to rest, restore quietly, you will gain greater clarity and wisdom as to how to deal with whatever confronts you next. Always trust your intuition because it is there to guide you through troubled waters. As you develop more patience and tolerance, you will stop rushing things and chasing lost causes because it then when expensive mistakes are made, some of which are irreversible. Always wait before taking any action. If in doubt, do nothing. Regardless of what chaos or confusion surrounds you, there is always a place of calm at the centre of your being once you detach from all the franticness.

Trust the light, grow through the darkness and start believing in new beginnings because all things are possible. There is always a way through every storm. Your story doesn’t end abruptly because courage is often found in unlikely places.

We are what we are, no more than a mere handful of dust, and although life remains a temporal enterprise, we recognise we each have a unique purpose to fulfil. Through resilience and empathy, we can take a walk on the path of thought and wonderment whilst brightening up the hazy remains of each day.

The bravest thing you can ever do is to just carry on regardless. Scared is what you were feeling, bravery is what you decided to muster up. By all means, change course midway, but never, ever give up. When the mighty oak fought the wind, it broke down under the strain, but when the willow bent over and worked with the energy, it survived.

‘I don’t need your praise
to survive. I was here first,
before you were here, before
you ever planted a garden.
And I’ll be here when only the sun and moon
are left, and the sea, and the wide field.
I will constitute the field’ .

Love and light,
Linda and the Lulas xxx
