Hello Readers,
Secretiveness is a most intriguing matter. No matter how well one may guard a secret, sooner or later it’s bound to come out.
People are secretive when they have secrets. There is something powerful in the quiet whispers behind closed doors and delightfully thrilling about being naughty and secretive. Always be discreet about doing the forbidden, there are ways around every obstacle, you just have to find them.
Breaking the rules and playing the rebel means that you are prepared to rewrite the rule book with your own interpretations, but that doesn’t mean you have to invite others into your inner sanctum. Some people, no matter how close to you they may be, must never be privy to your secrets, for that would not be wise.
For some clandestine lovers their world is an eternal Spring until the Winter comes. Some people relish the thought of living a double life quite separate and detached from the harsh realities of their official one. They put on a good front. No one suspects them, or so they like to believe, and so their charade carries on whilst people take them at face value.
And then there is something quite wonderful about sharing a secret, but who can you trust? Some people go through their whole lives hiding stuff because what the eyes cannot see, the heart cannot grieve about. Sometimes your best friend can be your worst enemy. Some secrets must be carried to the grave.
We are all entitled to our privacy and resent our choices and actions being challenged or taken away from us. No one has the right to dictate how you must live your life because their interference is uninvited and you are not answerable to anyone. They should mind their own business, but of course, in the end, it was curiosity that killed the cat. Don’t confuse strict confidentiality with downright deceit. Private is one thing but secrets and lies are something else. Be mindful that often it’s the ones who talk the most who are hiding the most but also beware of danger signals that flag problems. Silence, evading your questions, avoidance or suddenly outbursts are a sure give away of a guilty conscience.
Ask no questions, get told no lies.
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
