Hello Readers,
Some people only get to know themselves after they have nearly destroyed themselves or survived a situation that could have so easily destroyed them.
So many people become addicted to bad habits, toxic relationships, poor, almost non-existent self-care and at a point where they do not know which direction to go in next and in some cases, they are at such a low point that they don’t really care anymore. Often, we change our bad habits, whatever they may be, when the pain of remaining the same outweighs the pain of changing. Its only during the slow, gradual healing process do we really begin to know who we really are, and this journey is far more difficult than it sounds and there is no quick fix, it all takes a long time with a lot of help, support and understanding from others.
Having a low opinion of yourself is not modesty, but self-destruction. Instead, be lead by your talent and all that is good about your character, not continual self-loathing. It’s you who are the energy, it’s you who beats yourself up, it’s you who imagines the worst-case scenarios and it’s you personally who strips you of your own good self-esteem and confidence.
Sometimes, we want what we want and if we can’t have it, we want it more, even though we know it’s going to kill us.
Today, know that this is the first day of your life and that you have it in your power to change anything, because nothing is impossible and there is always a way, but you have to find it and there are always the right people around who will be able to help you along the way, you just have to trust and believe.
From now on, be the flame, not the moth.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
