Hello Readers,
Living alone is not always ideal, but then, neither is a marriage. One perk of living alone is that there is no one to judge you. Some people think the worst thing in life is to end up all alone, but not necessarily because the worst thing is to end up with people who make you feel all alone. The worst feeling isn’t being lonely, but being forgotten by someone you would never forget.
When you live by yourself for a stretch of time , you suddenly get used to looking at different objects that are in your surroundings. Often you will talk to yourself and take meals alone, because you have to. To live happily alone requires a serious amount of intentional thought and self discipline. You have to decide what you need to be comfortable both at home and in the world by arranging your life accordingly. As time goes by, you begin to develop an intimate relationship with your inner self as you slowly progress along the journey of the soul.
As the days merge into weeks months and years, you start becoming more accepting of your surroundings and begin to realise that all the answers you seek are right there, buried deep down within your own soul just waiting to be unearthed and acknowledged.
Splendid isolation means that your active living is suspended for a period of time, but underneath, in the darkness, something important and life changing is coming to pass, but possible not as you would have expected.
Your life will get better when you realise that it’s better to be alone than to chase people who don’t really care about you. Its easy to stand with the crowd, but it takes courage to stand alone. And in the end you are learning how to be strong, acknowledge who you are and speak up for yourself with more confidence than before.
To say you are bored living alone is to admit that you have no inner resources and nothing of any value nor interest to say or even offer another person. When you choose to be with yourself, you are giving yourself a chance of a very different future because you are slowly shedding the old you to become the real you, the person you have always wanted to be.
If you really want to be happy and at peace with yourself and the rest of the world, try not to become a person of success, but rather a person of value.
Sending love, light and peace,
Love from Linda and The Lulas xxx
