Survival

Hello Readers,

We are all animals in a forest.  We live in a jungle filled with all kinds of weird and wonderful people and creatures and this world is a very hard place in which to survive because sometimes even to live is an act of courage.

Our most basic and power instinct in this life is to look for ways of surviving when faced with adversity, life threatening illnesses, challenges and many more situations that you probably have experienced yourselves during the course of your lives and we are always in survival mode no matter what.  Instinct seeks for ways to survive and in business, politics and life in general competition, it is always about the survival of the fittest. Things don’t always turn out the way you planned or hoped they would, but what can you do?  You must take life the way it comes at you and make the best of it.

People will do amazing things just to ensure their survival.  Survivors are not always the strongest or the most intelligent, the ones who are the smartest and can adapt to change.  We all know how difficult change can be because it means hoofing ourselves out of our cosy comfort zone, but it’s essential if we are to survive swimming around in the pond of sharks that we all dwell in.

To be the best, you have to learn to handle the worst.  No one can tell what goes on between the time you were the person you were previously and what it has taken to become the person you are now. No one can chart that blue and lonely section of hell that you go through to get from ‘A to B’.  Struggles are required in order to learn how to survive in life because to know what success, happiness and peace of mind is, you first have to experience the hard lessons of falling down, picking yourself back up again and coping with the challenges life throws at you.  From every wound there is a scar and every scar tells a different story.  It’s a story that says you survived and each and every one of us has an interesting story to tell.

Survival can be summed up very simply.  ‘I am going to fight this, I am going to survive and I will never give up’.  Once the storm is over you probably won’t even realise nor remember how you managed to survive or be sure that the storm is really over.  But one thing is for certain, when you come out of the storm on the other side, you will never be the same person again because valuable lessons will have been learned and by then we are, hopefully, older and wiser for the experiences we have undergone.

Everything is a risk, not doing anything is a risk, life is a risk but it’s up to you, the choice is yours, you can only ever do your very best.

Until Next Week,

Love and Light,
