Hello Readers,
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. No matter who you are or where you’re from, your dreams are valid and can become of great importance by listening to their significant messages when helping both yourself and others. Dreams in themselves are not reality, but their very existence have the power to create the reality that we see in our imaginary world. All we need is the courage to believe in what they are trying to show us and what can be accomplished by believing in them.
There is a driving force so powerful inside every person, that once unleashed, can make any vision or desire become a reality. Avoid associating with people who try to belittle your ambitions and shatter your dreams. Small, minded people always seem to do that because mainly they walk around wearing blinkers that limit their vision but spending time with the people who believe in greatness can make you see and realise that all things are possible. The only person standing in your way at any time is yourself. You may try to blame others for your shortcomings, but we all have choices and ultimately, the buck stops with you. Learn from your mistakes by promising never to limit your opportunities by modelling yourself and worse still, comparing yourself to others. Their restrictions are in place because of the limited vision they have of themselves and their relationship with the outside world. Simultaneously, never limit the progress of others because of your own short-sightedness and inability to see beyond. We all have the power to make choices that can change the course of our lives forever. But beware of sharing too much information about your ideas, dreams and goals with the wrong people because this information could be used to hurt you later. We create the illusions we need to survive in our own mind, and one day, when they no longer dazzle or comfort, we tear them down, brick by glittering brick, until we are left with nothing but the bright light of honesty. The light is liberating, necessary and sometimes even terrifying. We stand baring our soul and before the mirror of life and when it is too much for our eyes to take, we build a new illusion to shield us from its relentless truth.
The past is, but the cemetery of our illusions. It is far harder to kill a phantom than a reality. There are two paths of which you may choose in the walk of life. One you are born with, and the second one you consciously blaze on a daily basis. One is naturally true, while the other is a perceptive illusion, but the problem will always be telling the difference. Choose wisely at each fork in the road because it’s inevitable that you will find yourself sitting at many crossroads during the course of your life. Don’t readily part with your illusions because when they are gone, you may still exist, but you will have ceased to live. The new world is, as yet, behind the veil of destiny, but in your eyes, however, its dawn has been slowly unveiled. You’re always free to change your mind and choose a different future, but you cannot choose a different past. The person who says that they have no illusions is lying to you and themselves because everyone dreams, even if just a little.
‘Manifest plainness,
Embrace simplicity,
Reduce selfishness,
Have few desires’.
