Hello Readers,
Many of you know, I am a great believer in using, the power Of gratitude to bring about positive changes in our lives. It’s imperative we are constantly aware of our blessings, and that we feel grateful for them. This brings an enormous impact into the quality of our lives.
When we are filled to the brim with appreciation, it literally changes the dynamics of our reality. It’s truly amazing how just one, simple positive action can change so much in not only our own but, other people’s lives.
Gratitude makes us a better more caring person. Each morning make it a ritual to take a moment and think of all the people and things in your life that you are grateful for.
Should you be having a hard day, make a gratitude list and write down all the things you are grateful for. Instead of getting cross at someone, show gratitude. This isn’t always easy because you will need to reverse your attitude.
Just bite your tongue and take a few deep breaths, and try to think of reason you are grateful for that person. Don’t criticise a person, just show gratitude. If we constantly criticise our partner or any friendship, the relationship will slowly deteriorate.
Take a moment and think of all the reason you are truly grateful to your partner. Let your partner know why you are grateful to them. When you do this your relationship will start to grow stronger because you are looking for the good in a person, not constantly seeking the bad and the negative.
Many of us see difficulties as a reason to complain and feel sorry for ourselves. This attitude won’t get us anywhere, so let see what we can learn from these difficult times.
Perhaps it’s a lesson for us to learn and grow or to encourage our lives go in new directions.
Say thank you more often and especially when someone shows us consideration.
There are too many rude and inconsiderate people in our world, but you can be a good force to spread gratitude around, so from today keep your eyes open to all forms of kindness.
Always focus on what you want and not what you don’t want. The more we focus on gratitude the more we appreciate our life and the happier we will be. If ever you are feeling sad and low, make a list of ’for’s and againsts’ and you will be surprised just how many things are actually working in your favour because it’s how the Universal Laws of Attraction work. I am sure many of you have heard of ’The Secret’ and all its wondrous wisdoms? When I was dog-less and bereft seven years ago because I had sadly lost my beloved Airedale, Stanley Rupert, I was advised to make a list of the sort of dog I would like to have and so The Lulas and I found one another and now we all live happily ever after.
Do not spoil now what you have now by desiring something else that you have not got. Always remember that what you have now is what you once longed and hoped for before it actually became yours.
Some people grumble that roses have thorns, I am always grateful that thorns have roses.
Until next Week
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
