Hello Readers
You can count your true friends on one hand, the rest are acquaintances, colleagues and associates and should not be mistaken for being a genuine friend. Friendship, trust and respect must be earned and not given freely, otherwise there is always the danger of mistaking and misreading a person, believing them to be the real thing, when in truth, they may not be quite as they seem.
A true friend is someone who loves you even when you forget to love yourself. True friends take us by the hand and remind us that we are not alone in the journey because they tell us they are there for us no matter what. A good friend is someone we can confide in when we need a companion. A friend is that other person whom we can share our silence, solitude and our worries. A friend is that other person we can share similar interests with, make arrangements to visit the theatre, cinema, museum, holiday, or just enjoy a memorable outing with. With a friend, we don’t have to do or say anything special, we just have to enjoy one another’s company. True friends are those who come into your life and stay in your life no matter how troubled or ill you may be.
Life is busy and days seem to get even shorter. Everyone is always complaining that there are not enough hours in the day. It’s so easy to keep making excuses about getting in touch with loved ones, but life is also very short and must not be taken for granted. We get caught up in a whirlpool of madness and find it difficult to jump off the merry-go-around to enjoy the company of our loved ones. There are many benefits to be enjoyed by creating time to feed those friendships and catch up with old and new friends even though your circumstances may be tough and you are on a tight schedule most of the time.
Never let your friends feel alone and lonely, make a point of disturbing them and tell them that you love them because a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Until Next Week,
Love and Light,
Linda and The Lulas xxx
