Hello Readers,
You are not the same person you were a year ago, or even a week ago. You are constantly changing and discovering who you are and what you want to become.
Since we all know that love makes the world go around, you must also be selective about your social circle. It’s important to be able to say no and not waste time worrying about what others may say if we refuse to comply with their wishes because behaving like a doormat will not make you better thought of, in fact you seriously risk being taken advantage of. Not everyone tries to understand what you are trying to say to them. It’s as though you are speaking a different language or screaming at a brick wall. Arguing the toss won’t help a sticky situation because we all have a different approach to life and our own individual paths to follow, but people also know that you can be relied upon to keep your promises. It’s a lot harder to get someone out of your life than to let them in.
You cannot change the people around you but you can change the people you choose to be around. The realist people don’t always have a lot of close friends because the smarter you are the more selective you become.
There is only one thing more precious than our time and that is who we spend it with. Wisdom is the reward for surviving our own stupidity and lack of emotional maturity.
